“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.” — Thomas Jefferson, 1816.
Republican Jen is a great friend of Blatherings. She reminds us that “Jen” is pronounced “gin” in the South and that means it is “Time to get intoxicated on the truth!” I found this Civics Test at her site. Give it a try and, if you want, let me know how well you did. I bet that the older you are the higher your score will be.
I scored “42″ which is GOOD, but NO GOLD STAR. :(
Friends of Blatherings
Thanks to all the friends of “Blatherings”. “Neddy’s Palaver” is the new name and the new address is http://neddy.blogsome.com. There has not been a huge change in the blog, as Beth of MVRWC was mentioning with some others, but my blog now has a place to hang out where the XHTML is Valid, an impossibility at Blogger.

Good luck with the new site.

Smart move, Neddy! Blogsome is pretty awesome, being free AND using Wordpress! And I do LOVE Wordpress, myself. ;-)
