What happens when a pitbull picks a fight with a porcupine?
A Naked Porcupine!

Inca, a bull terrier, encountered a porcupine on May 23rd, 2005. Thousands of quills were embedded in her, including her tongue and yet she still stands on her own feet. Veterinarians worked for quite some time to remove the quills but could not get them all. The image came from their clinic. One wonders how the owner of Inca managed to get the dog to the vet. Apparently, porcupine-canine encounters are not at all unusual. See HERE and HERE. Shannon Love became so concerned after episodes involving her griffons that she captured a young porcupine and trained him as a pet and even holds him in her lap to pet. She claims they make very affectionate pets. To each, his own, however a porcupine pet is apt to be much less dangerous than a pitbull.

A Bull Terrier is NOT a Pit Bull. A Bull Terrier is an gentle and loving family pet. I think it is a testament to this dog’s excellent temperament that she is behaving so beautifully, despite the incredible pain she must be in.
