The minute I saw this photo in e-mail, I know it is a fake.. Just like others, we wanted the truth and Google it. And here I am. Thanks!

when a friend sent me this photo as one of the beautiful places on earth I was so amazed that I viewed it over and over again. Out of my curiousity, i decided to google for it and found out that the islets are not really side by side. It's a beautiful sight though. ijust wish its real.

The star island is made up of pieces of the crescent island. If you look closely you can see where the waves and the shoreline are the same. In particular note that there is wave action inside the lagoon on the shore of the star, not possible!

I've been to Molokini a million times, and this is certainly a photoshopped image. I believe Dan G.'s comment is incorrect. This is not one of the man-made islands found in the Middle East, therefore I'm sure that billions of dollars weren't spent polluting Molokini... :)

I too use PhotoShop alot (photo restoration)so looking closely at the star, I can see that he built it from the image of the crescent island. The top coast of the star is from the right coast of the crescent directly across from it. Look for repeating patterns. The square boat is also copied.
