This is one really cheesy-wheesy test that I took after seeing the results on someone’s blog. I was even forced to cheat on a couple of questions - I clicked American cheese even though I really like brie better. However, I no longer buy brie cheese because it’s French, but I got no credit for that sacrifice. Another one I had to choose the type of sports I watch on TV. There was no category for “I don’t watch sports!“, so I chose nascar. Even then, I came up as only a 71 percenter which is pitiful considering that this guy at ChrisCam tested as a “Super 91% American” and he’s a Canadian. I do NOT recommend this test. Something is fishy!

So I took the online quiz and discovered that yes, I’m more American than most Americans. Ironic considering I’m still carrying a Green Card and am technically still Canadian. Although let’s be honest, I have nothing in common with Canadians who actually live in Canada, so it really isn’t surprising. I wonder if a corresponding ‘How Canadian Are You’ quiz would produce similar results. Actually, I wonder if it’s even possible to have such a quiz.

Friends of Blatherings

Republican Jen is a great friend of Blatherings. She reminds us that “Jen” is pronounced “gin” in the South and that means it is “Time to get intoxicated on the truth!” I found this Civics Test at her site. Give it a try and, if you want, let me know how well you did. I bet that the older you are the higher your score will be. wink I scored “42″ which is GOOD, but NO GOLD STAR. :(

Thanks to all the friends of “Blatherings”. “Neddy’s Palaver” is the new name and the new address is http://neddy.blogsome.com. There has not been a huge change in the blog, as Beth of MVRWC was mentioning with some others, but my blog now has a place to hang out where the XHTML is Valid, an impossibility at Blogger.
